Great location. Can walk to many things including Metro. But it’s a hotel of NO’s. No hot water. Staff with NO personality. NO USB ports in room for devices. Clean staff with NO patience. they peaked in the windows to see if they could clean the room before 9 AM.

Please don't go here. Ever. I don't usually leave negative reviews but this hotel is not worth any money at all. Pool your money together and get a better hotel nearby. The first room we had was so dated and cringy. Someone's grand-dad's recliner in the middle of the floor amid someone's grandmother's ancient dresser. After getting over the cringy part, we had problems with our air conditioner. It stopped working. The maint man said he has many of these units that break regularly. After a couple of breakdowns, they gave us another room. This room had a desk but no chair. A hole in the wall behind the bed and bugs. The man at the desk seemed unfazed and blankly said he'd report it. The whole hotel needs a big overhaul. And also associates that care that you've put your trust in them for at least a good night's sleep.

The worst experience in all my travels. I was insulted by the general manager Wayland K. Campbell, who overcharged me without my knowledge, screamed and scolded me during check out, and threatened to call the police to escort me because he wanted me to "NEVER COME BACK HERE." Quality Inn/Choice Hotels did nothing after report. More details: On 3/30 I returned to Virginia for a business trip. The next day I was out for a meeting that went past 12pm. At 12:40 I returned Wayland K. Campbell's call and told him I needed to extend my check out by a bit. He said: "No you don't have to. I already charged you for the second night. You can do whatever you want with the extra day because I already took money from your credit card. " I asked him where in Quality Inn's rules said he could charge me without my knowledge and permission and he yelled: "All hotels are like this!" over the phone. I told him I could be there by 1pm, to which he triumphantly replied: "Ok, if you can be here by 1 then I won't charge you." When I got there, he impatiently told me to "hurry up." When I returned the key and asked for his name, he impatiently gave me his business card and put his head down behind the counter. As I walked away I hear him angrily mumbled behind me, so I said: "I wish your day gets better." To which he said "NO." without looking up, shook his head and mumbled "stupid people..." I stood there, so he looked up: "Get out of here! Go!" "You don't have to be like this, sir. We can do this (argument) all day if you want." He reiterated: "You didn't tell me about checking out late ahead of time! I told you to HURRY UP and look at how much time you took (15-20 min)! Get out! NEVER COME BACK HERE! WE DON'T WANT YOUR BUSINESS!" I looked at him. "Do you need me to escort you? I can call the police." He smiled. I felt humiliated and reported Wayland K. Campbell to Quality Inn (Choice Hotels). They promised to reply in 48 hr. Never heard back.

We recently stayed at the Quality Inn . At Taylor's Corner Virginia.David was both handsome and professional..Andrew was very helpful ,and friendly..and was quick to solve our needs. .The rooms clean..All staff excellent attitudes. THE HOTEL MAINTANCE. Went out of his way to help us quickly and was very nice...The housekeeping was very friendly and brought us all we needed to make this 3rd stay here so so nice...only disappointing was pool not open...but maybe next time ...we would recommend and give five stars for this motel...ty to all staff ....

I recently returned to this place and my previous review still holds true. Look under Oct. 7 2020. TA will not let me post a link on this review. Still an older hotel that is a great value. Just updating on the breakfast. It is no longer a grab and go breakfast. It is a sit down breakfast. While not something to write about back home, it is decent enough to fill you up to start the day. I would like to contrast this breakfast with the nearby Hawthorne Suites. They also have breakfast back but it is so simple that even I would skip it. The breakfast here is definitely much much better. Incidentally, I found there is a Korean restaurant to the left (facing the hotel) of the hotel. Cross the parking lot and it's there. Maybe 4-5 minutes walk. Tops. Still a very good budget hotel. If you are expecting much more, then don't. You are not charged that much either. BTW, service is still very good. My coffee maker in the room leaked. While this will elicit crazy reviews, I elect to see what the hotel will do. I reported it. Within a few minutes someone came with a brand new one still in its plastic wrapper.
